About Me

My Story

Sharon’s goal is for the dog to become a well behaved member of the family and to help the people have the skills necessary to accomplish this goal. Sharon wants the dog to become the most well adjusted, confident dog possible and to learn to make good choices. These goals are accomplished by using reward based training based in science. Sharon is nationally certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, the only accredited program for dog trainers, as well as a certified Absolute Dogs trainer. She is a member of the Pet Professional Guild, an international organization that emphasizes force free training, and an AKC Evaluator. Sharon frequently attends conferences and workshops to further her level of knowledge and expertise. Sharon is extremely proud of her affiliation with Victoria Stilwell and the high standard Victoria sets for her trainers.

Sharon has a B.A. in Education and a M. A. in Sociology. She shares her home with three dogs: Molly and Ean, Tibetan Spaniels, and Hazi, a Chihuahua mix. She has competed in agility and had fun with canine musical freestyle. Sharon feels that dogs bring tremendous joy to the world and deserve to be respected and treated in the most humane manner.

“Have fun with your best friend!”
